Surreal Scarve Obsession

One could stroll down the musky July streets of Manhattan and after just walking a few blocks, could most likely spot five different women (of any age) displaying extremely disparate scarves. This winter staple has brought out the boho in even the most non-innovative dressers and is omnipresent in both low-end and high-end boutiques in a range of styles. I've seen scarves that are solid and multi-colored, sporting the sense of being watercolored, those presenting a slightly tribal/global edge with black silouhettes or Buddist letters, the vintage ones , the energetic florals, the knits, the meaningful, nostalgic grandmotherly designs in which one could tell that every stitch is full of heart, and the silkiest and richest in terms of material that could be uncovered in high-profile shops such as Coach and Louis Vuitton. Or all of these styles can intermix. I think scarves are one of the most groundbreaking fashion obsessions that have ever happened to society, and now they are being made to be put in hair and around the straps of purses!

According to Style.com, designer Donna Karan stated that scarves are the "most versatile accessory." Whether skinny, long, short, tied, looped twice, or wrapped around multiple times, this flowy wardrobe addition will look chic with skinny jeans but I prefer to pair floral or loud patterns with solid, warm colors like pinks and yellows. Boys: wear them over your tuxes. Who said the neck needed to be left bare and cool in the heat of summer?

Scarf used to be fashion...
For the day a little "cheche" and for the night a sweet and chic scarf.
Most of all, this one is a simple accessory but it can makes you a real fashion lady.
