Floral Barrette Haven

a sample of Peachypan's colorful cupcake confection meets fantasy accessory line ^

Of any kind or type, barrettes, pins, sticks for the hair add a free spirit and whiff of natural feminine essence to one's locks, regardless of color or shade. However, in order for the head pendants to reflect its airy, hair-blowing-in-the-wind mood, hair should probably be kept down and natural; a piece of art needs to have a background, right? If hair is in a ponytail, petals may become overpowering. Okay, I may take that back; intricate florals plastered into a messy or ballet bun makes one look like a storybook princess. A fascinating article on Dailycandy.com mentions this unique company that makes elaborate hair decorations by hand, named "Peachypan Kanzashi." Kanzashi means "hair ornament" in Japanese, according to the founder of the ultra-imaginative business. The barrette masters have redefined the art of crafting accessories; Peachypan uses Swarovski crystals as the base centerpiece to decorate with petalsoften made with silk and rhinestone. Peachypan collections even make noise--the lavish design pictured on the top of the post contains silver bells that jingle quite loudly when the head moves. Peachy's ornaments follow a sharp, vibrant color scheme such as violets and close-in-tone purples, pale pinks and blues, rustic/woodsy browns and greys, and bold tangerines and neons. Some are garnished with a silver lining or a section of pearls. These creations should be displayed in museums as statues or sculptures- real handmade artistic masterpieces . And for special occasions and parties, nothing seems more elegant than a flower with sound effects that parts a head full of faux curls. Sounds like something I'd like to sport on my veil at my wedding to make me (and my hair!) less nervous.
